Support Worker – ASD | Community Access & Domestic Support

Self-managed NDIS participant | 1:1 supports

We are seeking a reliable and experienced female Support Worker to support two male participants with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Northbridge, North Sydney.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys community-based work, understands the importance of clear communication and routine, and is confident providing 1:1 support.

About the Role

You will be supporting participants both in the community and at home, focusing on building confidence, independence, and social engagement.

Duties include:

• 1:1 community access support

• Supporting participants to get out and about

• Assistance with navigation, orientation, and transport

• Encouraging positive social engagement in a calm, structured way

• Light domestic assistance, including:

  • Dusting

  • Vacuuming

  • General household cleaning

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is female (family preference)

• Has experience supporting people with ASD

• Is confident providing 1:1 supports

• Communicates clearly and literally (no vague or abstract language)

• Understands the value of routine and structure

• Is patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoys community work

Mandatory Requirements

• NDIS Worker Screening Check

• Working With Children Check (NSW)

• Current First Aid & CPR

• Police Check

• Relevant experience supporting people with ASD

• Valid driver’s licence, reliable transport and Comprehensive Insurance
